This is the full Boquete retreat: cool mountain air, lush green scenery, and a boutique hotel that feels classic, quiet, and genuinely comfortable. With six nights, you are not squeezing Boquete into a checklist—you can do the signature experiences, add an adventure day if you want it, and still keep multiple mornings and evenings slow.

Hotel Panamonte is a food-forward mountain stay with gardens and a warm, old-world atmosphere. Your stay includes daily breakfast paired with Boquete’s internationally known gourmet coffee (custom blend for Panamonte), free Wi-Fi, and complimentary water in-room. Evenings are a highlight here: you come back from the day, slow down, and enjoy a proper dinner that fits the mountain setting.

Getting there (arrival options): You can land either in Panama City (PTY) or Río Hato (RIH). You can add ground transportation to your trip in the Activities section during checkout. For Hotel Panamonte, an additional $200 flat supplement applies on top of the transportation price shown in your cart due to the longer distance. Travel time is approximately 8 hours by car from PTY or 5 hours by car from RIH. If you prefer to shorten the journey, we can also coordinate a private flight (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes) or helicopter transfer (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). To arrange any transportation option, contact us through Services → Private Transportation, and we will coordinate the best solution for your schedule.

This itinerary is designed to be flexible: two signature days (coffee and nature), one town-and-views day, one optional adventure day, and one true retreat day so the trip feels restorative from start to finish.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival & Settle Into Boquete

Arrive in Boquete and check in at Hotel Panamonte. Easy afternoon in the gardens and cool air, then a relaxed first dinner on property.

Day 2 — Coffee Day (Boquete’s Signature)

Coffee experience with tastings and the story behind why Boquete is famous for beans. Return to Panamonte for a slow afternoon and a proper dinner.

Day 3 — Waterfalls / Trails Day

A full nature day focused on waterfalls and lush trails. Lunch with mountain views, then back to the hotel to recover and enjoy the evening.

Day 4 — Town + Views + Easy Pace

A flexible day for Boquete village, viewpoints, café stops, and boutique browsing. Come back early, enjoy the gardens, and keep the evening centered around a great dinner.

Day 5 — Adventure Upgrade Day (Optional)

If you want one “bigger” day, this is the place for it: a more active guided outing, a higher-effort hike, or a full day built around Boquete’s outdoor side—then a slow evening back at Panamonte.

Day 6 — True Retreat Day (No Pressure)

Sleep in, long breakfast, and a full “reset” day at Panamonte—gardens, lounge time, and no schedule. Keep the evening simple with one last great dinner.

Day 7 — Breakfast & Departure

Unhurried breakfast with Boquete gourmet coffee, final garden stroll, check out and depart.
