Panamonte is the kind of place you choose when you want Boquete’s nature and charm, but you also want to come back to a proper room, a warm atmosphere, and a great meal without leaving the property.

What makes Panamonte stand out is how “complete” it feels for a short stay. Your rate includes daily breakfast with Boquete’s well-known gourmet coffee (their signature blend), free Wi-Fi, and complimentary water in-room. The hotel also leans hard into the food experience, with a dining program that fits the mountain setting and makes evenings feel like part of the trip—not an afterthought.

Getting there (arrival options): You can land either in Panama City (PTY) or Río Hato (RIH). You can add ground transportation to your trip in the Activities section during checkout. For Hotel Panamonte, an additional $200 flat supplement applies on top of the transportation price shown in your cart due to the longer distance. Travel time is approximately 8 hours by car from PTY or 5 hours by car from RIH. If you prefer to shorten the journey, we can also coordinate a private flight (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes) or helicopter transfer (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). This 2-night version is built to keep things simple: one day focused on Boquete’s must-do nature (coffee or waterfalls), and one evening centered on the lodge experience—gardens, crisp air, and an unhurried dinner that feels like part of the retreat.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival & Boquete Village Vibes

Arrive in Boquete and check in at Hotel Panamonte. Settle into the gardens and cool air, then take a relaxed walk through town. Dinner on property for an easy first night.

Day 2 — Coffee or Waterfalls + Mountain Comfort

Choose one signature experience:

Option A: Coffee farm experience with tastings and the story behind Boquete’s famous beans.

Option B: Scenic waterfall hike through lush, misty trails.

After lunch, keep the afternoon slow—rest at the hotel, enjoy the gardens, and lean into the lodge pace. Finish with a proper dinner at Panamonte.

Day 3 — Slow Breakfast & Departure

Unhurried breakfast, last coffee, a final garden stroll, then check out and depart.
