This is the “proper” version of the trip: two full rounds of championship golf, a true resort day in the middle, and enough time to enjoy Buenaventura the way it is meant to be enjoyed—slow mornings, beach and pool recovery, and evenings that feel calm and upscale.
You will stay at The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort on Panama’s Pacific Coast and play Buenaventura Golf Club, a Nicklaus Design championship course known for pristine conditions and a layout that mixes lush fairways, water features, and tropical landscaping. The course is scenic, technical, and consistently well maintained—serious enough for strong golfers, enjoyable for everyone.
Getting there (arrival options): You can land either in Panama City (PTY) or Río Hato (RIH). If you add ground transportation to your package, we can pick you up and bring you to the resort. Travel time is approximately 2 hours by car from PTY or 30 minutes by car from RIH.
The extra nights change everything. Instead of trying to squeeze golf and relaxation into the same day, you get space: one day built around golf, one day built around the resort, then another golf day to finish strong. If you want to push it, we can also add a third round or a lighter final-day session (practice + nine) without making the itinerary feel rushed.
Suggested Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival & Resort Time
Arrival and check in at Buenaventura. Beach or pool afternoon, sunset cocktail, and dinner on property.
Day 2 — Golf Day (Round #1)
Full round of golf at Buenaventura Golf Club. Post-round lunch, then recovery time: spa, pool, or beachfront relaxation. Seaside dinner.
Day 3 — Resort Day (No Pressure)
A full day to enjoy the property at your pace—beach, pool, gym, and resort facilities. Optional add-ons available (horseback riding, wellness-focused spa block). Dinner on property.
Day 4 — Golf Day (Round #2) + Flexible Finish
Second full round of golf. Afternoon to unwind and pack slowly. Farewell dinner to close out the trip.
Day 5 — Leisure Morning & Departure
Easy breakfast, final beach walk or quick pool time, check out and departure.

• Spa session or wellness-focused recovery block
• Horseback riding experience (based on availability)
Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 12:00 PM.
High season (Jan 3 – Apr 30): free cancellation 15 days before arrival; late cancel = 1 night charge. Low season (May 1 – Dec 20): free cancellation 3 days before; late cancel = 1 night. Peak season (Dec 21 – Jan 3): must cancel 90 days before; otherwise 100% of stay (max 5 nights). Early departure: 50% of unused nights (regular), 100% max 5 nights (festive).
Children of all ages are welcome. Extra beds and cribs available upon request (charges may apply).
