This short escape is built for travelers who want a real reset in a tight window: one championship-level round of golf, a polished Pacific beach resort setting, and enough downtime to actually feel the pace drop.
You will stay at The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort on Panama’s Pacific Coast and play Buenaventura Golf Club, a Nicklaus Design course known for pristine playing conditions and a layout that is scenic and technical at the same time. The course is complemented by everything you want around a golf trip: beach and pool time for recovery, excellent service, and on-property dining that fits the setting—fresh seafood, tropical flavors, and sunset views that make evenings feel effortless.
Getting there (arrival options): You can land either in Panama City (PTY) or Río Hato (RIH). If you add ground transportation to your package, we can pick you up and bring you to the resort. Travel time is approximately 2 hours by car from PTY or 30 minutes by car from RIH.
This itinerary is intentionally simple and smooth. You arrive, settle in, play your round without rushing, and still have time for the beach, the pool, or a spa session before heading out. If you want to sharpen your game a bit more, we can also add a light practice session around your golf day.
Suggested Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival & Resort Time
Arrival and check in at Buenaventura. Spend the afternoon at the beach or pool, then enjoy a sunset cocktail and dinner on property.
Day 2 — Golf Day (Buenaventura Golf Club)
Full round of golf at Buenaventura Golf Club. Post-round lunch at the club or resort, followed by your choice of recovery and leisure: spa time, poolside relaxation, or a calm beachfront afternoon. Seaside dinner to close out the day.
Day 3 — Leisure Morning & Departure
Easy breakfast, final beach walk or quick pool time, check out and departure.

Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 12:00 PM.
High season (Jan 3 – Apr 30): free cancellation 15 days before arrival; late cancel = 1 night charge. Low season (May 1 – Dec 20): free cancellation 3 days before; late cancel = 1 night. Peak season (Dec 21 – Jan 3): must cancel 90 days before; otherwise 100% of stay (max 5 nights). Early departure: 50% of unused nights (regular), 100% max 5 nights (festive).
