This is the “no compromises” Panama City golf escape: three rounds at Santa María with enough time to enjoy the city properly—Panama Canal scale, Casco Viejo charm, skyline dinners—and still keep the trip relaxed and premium.
You will stay at The Santa Maria, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort, with the key inclusions that make the experience smooth: daily breakfast at the restaurant, complimentary wireless Internet, pool and gym access, a 24-hour business center, and coffee/tea/water in the room. Golf is the anchor: Santa María Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Nicklaus Design, known for pristine conditions and a serious but enjoyable layout.
On your golf days, the standard green fee includes golf cart, practice area access, and two bottles of water (rentals available). We also plan tee times around the maintenance window (Mondays 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
Day 1 — Arrival & Easy Start
Arrive in Panama City and check in at The Santa Maria. Unwind at the pool or gym, then dinner in the city (skyline dinner works well on night one) or on property.
Day 2 — Golf Day (Round #1 at Santa María)
Morning tee time at Santa María Golf Club. Post-round lunch, then a recovery-focused afternoon: pool, spa, or downtime. Dinner at your pace.
Day 3 — Panama Canal + Casco Viejo Day
Start with the Panama Canal for the headline experience, then spend the afternoon and evening in Casco Viejo—history, walkable streets, rooftops, cocktails, and a proper dinner.
Day 4 — Golf Day (Round #2) + Flexible Afternoon
Second round at Santa María. Afternoon is open: Multiplaza shopping, Biomuseo + Amador Causeway, or pure hotel recovery. Dinner in the city.
Day 5 — Golf Day (Round #3) + Farewell Night
Final round at Santa María. Slow afternoon, then a farewell dinner—either a refined Casco night or a calm on-property finish.
Day 6 — Leisure Morning & Departure
Breakfast, final slow morning, check out and departure.
