This is the “proper” Panama City golf getaway: two rounds at Santa María, plus enough time to enjoy the city without rushing. You get one golf day, one city day, a second golf day, and still have a buffer evening to relax at the hotel and keep the trip premium.
You will stay at The Santa Maria, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort, an urban-resort setup with the practical inclusions that make the stay smooth: daily breakfast at the restaurant, complimentary wireless Internet, pool and gym access, a 24-hour business center, and coffee/tea/water in the room. The golf anchor is Santa María Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Nicklaus Design, known for pristine conditions and a serious but playable layout.
Standard green fee includes golf cart, practice area access, and two bottles of water (rentals available). We also plan tee times around the maintenance window (Mondays 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
Day 1 — Arrival & City Night
Arrive in Panama City and check in at The Santa Maria. Unwind at the pool or gym, then head out for a skyline dinner (or keep it easy and dine at the hotel).
Day 2 — Golf Day (Round #1 at Santa María)
Morning tee time at Santa María Golf Club. Post-round lunch, then a recovery-focused afternoon: pool, spa, or downtime. Dinner in the city or on property.
Day 3 — Panama Canal + Casco Viejo Cultural Day
Start with the Panama Canal for the headline experience, then spend the afternoon and evening in Casco Viejo—walkable streets, history, rooftops, cocktails, and a proper dinner.
Day 4 — Golf Day (Round #2) + Flexible Finish
Second tee time at Santa María Golf Club. Keep the afternoon open for whatever your group wants: Multiplaza shopping, Biomuseo + Amador Causeway, or simply a relaxed final evening at the hotel. Farewell dinner.
Day 5 — Leisure Morning & Departure
Breakfast, slow morning, check out and departure.
