This is the fastest way to do Panama City with a premium feel: one championship round at Santa María Golf Club, paired with the best parts of the city—Casco Viejo, skyline dinners, and (optionally) the Panama Canal—without turning it into an exhausting “tour schedule.”

You will stay at The Santa Maria, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort, an urban-resort setup with the amenities that actually matter on a short trip: daily breakfast at the restaurant, complimentary wireless Internet, access to the pool and gym, a 24-hour business center, and coffee/tea/water in the room.  The golf is the centerpiece: Santa María Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus / Nicklaus Design, built to be enjoyable for casual golfers while still challenging strong players. 

For your golf day, the standard green fee setup includes what most people want included: golf cart, practice area access, and two bottles of water (shoe and club rentals are available).  Note: the course has a maintenance closure window on **Mondays from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p ccordingly. 

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival & City Night

Arrival in Panama Cit aria. Settle in, enjoy the pool or a quick unwind, then head out for a skyline dinner (or keep it easy with dinner at the hotel).

Day 2 — Golf Day (Santa María Golf Club) + Casco Evening

Morning tee time at Santa María Golf Club. Post-round lunch, then a relaxed afternoon: spa/pool/gym recovery or downtime in the room. Late afternoon or evening in Casco Viejo for a walk, cocktail, and dinner.

Day 3 — Panama Canal (Optional) & Departure

If your flight timing allows, do a clean, high-impact visit to the Panama Canal in the morning, then return for check out and departure.
